The affiliate organization in Israel is the Neaman Institute located at the world-renowned Israel Institute of Technology or the Technion in Haifa.

The Samuel Neaman Institute for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology (SNI) is an independent public-policy research institute, established in 1978 to assist in the search for solutions to national problems in science and technology, education, economy and industry, and social development.

SNI has recently established the Israel Energy Forum to serve as a hub for discussions among government officials and representatives from industry, the energy sector, fuel companies, consumer groups and other stakeholders. It is anticipated that in the context of this forum it will be possible to establish positions acceptable to the majority of the public as well as to decision-makers in different government ministries.
